It’s about time…
After almost a month of having no Mac (due to a crash while installing 10.4.9) my computer has returned from the land beyond. Yay! No important files were lost, thank God (rather, thank Archive & Install)
Side note: Since I never had installed OS X before, I hadn’t realized how simple installing it really is. Kudos to Apple!
Update 6/2 – I installed the Kernel Panic screensaver from Doomlaser for fun. It emulates what happened to me perfectly! I already scared my sister (moved the mouse to the screen saver hot corner when she was using Keynote)

Hey David! It’s great to see that your Mac is in good health, once again.
I have to agree with you that the installation (or, actually, I’ve only gone through the initial setup) of Mac OS X is pretty sweet and seamless.
At least it was just something minor with your machine. At least it’s not a PC with chronic blue screens of death (I’ve been down that road too many times).
